AGRICULTURAL SALES REPRESENTATIVE

Purcher International’s dealership growth strategy now sees us looking to bring on anenergetic, creative, driven, and competitive Agricultural Sales Consultant to join our business. Reporting to our Branch Manager, your day-to-day responsibilities are:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify businesses/customers with a requirement to purchase new and used Agricultural and CASE Construction machinery and equipment.
  • Guide businesses/customers through their purchase, providing outstanding customer service as the face of McIntosh & Son.
  • Account management inclusive of sales budgets in line with Company targets and goals as they relate to customer satisfaction and profitability.
  • Assist in ensuring a steady flow of enquiries from multiple channels through prospecting and marketing.
  • Maintain a specialist knowledge of brand machinery and options, participating in regular knowledge updates.
  • Manage the machinery/equipment handover process, ensuring compliance with process.
  • Responsible for sales planning, order routing and other commercial back-office activities, in cooperation withother members of the sales team.
  • Monitoring customer and market trends along with the marketing team to develop effective marketing activities.
You will have:
  • Account management skills and also able to identify new opportunities – i.e. markets, clients, products & services
  • Commercial awareness with consultative sales approach
  • Proven knowledge of different sales techniques and pipeline management
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written with strong negotiation skills
  • Good networking skills

HEAVY DUTY DIESEL MECHANIC

Join a high-performing Service Team within a progressive, well-established Agricultural Machinery business.

What you’ll be doing:

Working as a Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic, you will join a team of Service professionals who have a great sense of pride in delivering an exceptional standard of service to our Midwest customers.

Your work will vary from being in the workshop – completing all fit outs of new and used Agricultural Machinery, prior to delivery – through to on-farm break down call outs and servicing.

What you’ll need to succeed:
  • Be trade qualified – Heavy Vehicle / Diesel Mechanic
  • Have sound hydraulics and electrical knowledge
  • Possess basic computer skills
  • Hold a valid driver’s licence
  • Have exposure to agriculture machinery (preferred, not essential)
